When did Lani Wines start?

Lani Wines registered as a Wholly Foreign Owned Company (WFOE) in Hangzhou in April 2017 and received Food and Hygiene accreditation in August 2017.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Alipay, Wechat Pay, bank transfer and Cash on Delivery (COD).

What credit terms do you offer business customers (B2B)?

After 3 months of COD, we can offer up to 30 days credit on purchases with a limit of RMB 5000.

Where do you deliver in of China?

We can deliver to most cities and provinces. The delivery costs are set out in the Delivery section of the website.

Do you deliver outside of China?

At this stage no. We will only deliver to addresses within the People’s Republic of China.

Can I track the delivery of my order?

Yes you can. Please contact us by Wechat or email and we can let you know the courier company details and the delivery number.

Can you issue a tax receipt (fapio)?

Yes we can. You will need to provide us with your name or company details.

Screw cap or cork?

We understand the nostalgia and people’s liking of the ritual of opening a wine which has a cork but we prefer wines that have a metal screw cap (Stelvin seal). We have seen too many examples of cork taint over the years and rather the safer option.

Why don’t you stock bigger, more famous brands?

There is a lot of competition in the Chinese wine market, and especially amongst companies selling big brands or famous brands. There are already many other distributors or retailers marketing big brand wines in restaurants, shops and online. So why be a little fish in a big pond? We’d rather put our energy into distributing smaller labels which have great character and offer better value.

There is also the risk of fakes. Generally, it’s the more famous brands which attract counterfeiting. Smaller brands are less attractive to counterfeiters because they aren’t as easily sold online or in shops.

How do I return a product to you?

If you are not satisfied with a product you have bought, please contact us as soon as possible by Wechat or email to let us know. The product should be returned within 7 days of receiving it to receive a credit/ refund. The labeling must be in original condition and the product unopened. If the product has been opened or the labeling has been damaged, we will be unable to provide a credit.

If a product you purchased is faulty, please return the remainder so that we can analyse it to determine the problem. We will be happy to replace the faulty product with the same product if available.
